Synonymy  LUCZKOWSKA (1972) rehabilitated the genus Adelosina d'Orbigny, 1846. She distinguished 2 species: A. laevigata and A. pulchella. These represent the initial stages of the megalospheric generation.
A first large group may be distinguished:
1. A. laevigata = juvenile test
Qu. mariae = A-generation
Qu. longirostra = B-generation [details]
