Etymology [The species name was derived from Latin denticulatus, with small teeth or spinose processes, and referred to the rounded teeth at the posterior segment as Zelinka (1928, p. 349) stated: "Der Hinterrand ist mit isoliert stehenden, gerundeten Zähnen besetzt" = The posterior margin is occupied by isolated, rounded teeth.] [details]
