Spelling Saint-Joseph (1894) original spelling was as 'caput esocis' as two words, and some later authors (eg Gibbs, 1971) continued a tradition of inserting a hyphen to link the two words as 'Caulleriella caput-esocis', rather than combining them to 'caputesocis' as required by the ICZN Code [details]
