During several investigations of the marine bottom fauna of the Adriatic Sea in 1972 and 1973 19 species belonging to the polychaete family Paraonidae — an abundant group in this kind of sediment — were collected. Three new species: Paraonides myriamae sp. n., Aricidea (Allia) pseudannae sp. n., Aricidea (Allia) mariannae sp. n. are described, their taxonomic positions discussed, and some ecological data are given. In addition only a part of a specimen Aricidea sp. was obtained but certainly it belongs to a new species.
