Description
In the Dutch delta area some key locations (during the pilot phase in the Oosterschelde and Westerschelde), functional and structural variables of the ecosystems will be monitored at regular intervals during a period of at least 10 years. Aim is to assess the extent and causes of long-term changes in ecosystems and biodiversity, to indicate threats to a system, to obtain basic data for models, and to indicate forcing factors in the systems.
