Diagnosis Proloculus followed by undivided enrolled tubular second chamber that may be tightly appressed against the previous whorl, early coiling trochospiral with open cone, later changing abruptly to a planispiral enrollment; wall of agglutinated fine quartz particles in insoluble cement; aperture a low arch forming the open end of the tube.
