Identification This (the common liver fluke) is a parasite of terrestrial herbivores. Occasionally, brachycladiid liver flukes from marine mammals have been misidentified as this species. It has also been misidentified as a turbellarian. It is possible that it may rarely occur in some herbivorous or ominvorous aquatic or semi-aquatic mammal. [details]
