Homonymy Pseudomastus Capaccioni-Azzati & Martin, 1992 is junior to Pseudomastus Monterosata, 1894 in Mollusca. The name was replaced by Notobranchus Capaccioni--Azzati & El-Haddad in Parapar et al, 2015. However, in 2017 Pseudomastus in Capitellidae was made a synonym of Leiochrides. [details]
Synonymy Jeong, Wi & Suh (2017) synonymized Pseudomastus to Leiochrides Augener. These authors were unaware that Pseudomastus was a homonym and had been replaced by Notobranchus. However, this earlier name change can make no difference to the synonymy decision [details]
