Editor's comment As Jouin 1970 is an unpublished work the first Code-valid publication of Micronerilla may be much later when the first subsequent taxonomist published a taxonomic description. This may be Westheide (1990:64). Westheide would become the author. In Jouin (1970) there is no separate diagnosis for the genus, and so the characters are of the species, or alternatively determined by the diagnosis of Westheide (1990: 64) [details]
