Etymology The species is named in honour of Dr. Hans G. Hansson (b. August 21, 1945; d. January 30, 2011), Swedish zoologist working at the Tjärno Marine Biological Laboratory, of the Gothenburg University, ''for his invaluable knowledge on marine life and for all help received'' (Pleijel, 1987: 25). Habitat Specimens found on the lower part of a Lophelia pertusa (Linnaeus, 1758) coral reef, between 300-500 m. [details]
