Present Inaccurate Introduced: alien Containing type locality
From editor or global species database
Classification The type species of Phloeodictyon, the type genus of the present family, is P. isodictyiforme (currently Oceaapia isodictyiformis). In their phylogenetic analysis of Haplosclerida, the sequence of this species obtained by Redmond et al. (2013) ended up within a group of Haliclona species. This raises doubt about the status and content of the family. [details]
