Original description Introduced in two works by Bogachev (1932a, b); precedence not established. However, only Bogachev (1932a, "Vedushchiye iskopayemyye razreza Apsheronskogo polustrova i prilegayushchikh rayonov") actually described the species, while Bogachev (1932b, "Geologicheskiye ekskursii v okrestnostyakh Baku") only referred to it in the plates with the authority "V. Bog." and not as new species. [details]
