Description Occurs singly or in small groups over both lagoon and seaward reefs. Has been recorded from a temperature range of 26-29°C (Ref. 4959). Feared by fishermen because they can cause puncture wounds with their sharp snouts when jumping out of the water, e.g. when alarmed or attracted to lights at night. Marketed mostly fresh.
