Taxonomy Adam's taxon has been placed in Spirorbis granulatus by Fleming and by Johnston; however, records under this name have been attributed to the vermetid worm snails, and even might belong to Vermiliopsis infundibulum sensu Philippi as well; fossil records certainly are species inquirenda [details]Unreviewed
