Diagnosis Test elongate, large, robust, short triserial early microspheric stage or biserial megalospheric one, later uniserial, with closely appressed subcylindrical chambers and straight and slightly depressed horizontal sutures; wall calcareous, hyaline, finely perforate, optically radial, surface with heavy and generally continuous longitudinal costae; aperture terminal, rounded, with a short neck and phialine lip, provided with internal siphonlike toothplate, those of successive chambers changing orientation by about 120¡.
