Clark, Robert B. (1953). Lumbrinereis cluthensis n. sp. (Eunicidae), a new polychaete from the Firth of Clyde. Annals and Magazine of Natural History. Series 12, 6(72): 945-949.
A new polychaete worm, Lumbrinereis cluthensis, n. sp., from the Firth of Clyde is described and figured. It is possible that the specimens taken by Fauvel in the Adriatic and named provisionally L. atlantica (Kinberg) should be ascribed to the new species. It differs from almost all the other species of the genus in the total absence of hooked chaetae.
