Travaux de l'Institut de Zoologie de Montpelier et de la Station maritime de Cette, Mémoire
[No abstract. A long conclusions is at the end. The work begins with a foreword as follows]
The research that I am publishing today was begun a few years ago in the zoology laboratory of the Faculty of Sciences of Montpellier. The weekly excursions made to the Zoological Station of Cette by the naturalist students of the Faculty of Sciences allowed me to periodically obtain freshly caught animals that were therefore very favorable for study. In addition, on several occasions, I spent the months of August, September and October at the Station. I was thus able to go myself in search of the animals that I needed and study them at leisure in the laboratory. Many observations that I could not have made on Annelids transported from Cette to Montpellier were made possible to me, thanks to the installation of a laboratory on the seashore. I have therefore made extensive use of the hospitality so kindly offered to naturalists who wish to work at the Zoological Station of Cette.
