From editor or global species database
Source Tristicochaeta n. gen. with the species T. inarimense was first proposed by Panceri in 1876 in a note of one page and was followed in 1878 with a more detailed description and illustrations. This caused some confusion, as we can find sometimes the citation of 1876 (without a detailed species description or ilustrations). Or even the same reference (same suffix) showing different publication years.

We consider the year of the complete publication: 1878.
