GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: USSR Northern Fleet Hydrographic Expedition. Year of discovery: 1965. History: Named from the Russian submarine "Leninskiy Komsomol" which in 1964 was the first to surface at the North Pole.    
Additional information (en): This local summit is the shoalest of three elevations between 86°33'N and 86°44'N on a north-northeast trending ridge. These elevations were discovered from drift-ice-observations of depth. Minimum depth (m): 391. Maximum depth (m): 1991. Total relief (m)
