This dataset is a compilation of 5 individual surveys/datasets. Richard Newell acted as the data provider on behalf of a consortium of commercial aggregate dredging companies who sponsored the surveys. Together they make up the mass of closely-spaced stations in the middle of the eastern English Channel. These surveys were ‘baseline’ studies in advance of applications to commercially dredge the eastern Channel area.
