8 species of the family Solenopharyngidae Von Graff are described. 7 species are new to science. A new phylogenetic system of this family-subdivided in 3 subfamilies and 13 genera - results from the comparing description of the morphology of all Solenopharyngidae, known till now. The subfamily Lenopharynginae nov. subf. includes 3 genera. The female reproductive organs are primitive. Only species of this subfamily have paired germaria with one connexion to the atrium. The subfamily Anthopharynginae nov. subf. is erected for the genus Anthopharynx Karling. The common opening of the mouth and the gonopore is regarded as an apomorphous feature. The 9 genera of the subfamily Solenopharynginae nov. subf. are synapomorphous allied to each other by the development of two tracts connecting an unpaired germarium and the atrium. The phylogenetic relationship of the genera bases on structures of the male copulatory organ and the bursa copulatrix. According to several derived characteristics of the genital apparatus the Solenopharyngidae belong to the suborder Typhloplanoida. Ciliopharyngiella intermedia Ax, 1952 is a primitive Typhloplanide. Its pharynx demonstrates the evolution from the pharynx plicatus to the pharynx bulbosus of the Neorhabdocoela. In comparison with Ciliopharyngiella the genital organs and the pharynx of the Solenopharyngidae represent a more apomorphous stage. The origin of the Typhloplanoida and therefore of all Neorhabdocoela from the Combinata (Prolecithophora) is to deny.
