Abstract
Twelve species of the holothorian order Molpadiida are now known from the western Atlantic. The minote species Cherbonniera utriculus Siboet is a new record for the area, and it occors in large nombers in abyssal depths. A key to the species is incloded. All species are diagnosed and their important systematic characters are illostrated. Recent collections, mostly since the 1960's, provide new data on distribotion and depth ranges for the western Atlantic species.
