Description
This study was initiated to gain a better understanding on the spatio-temporal change of macrophyte communities. The study is still ongoing and is part of a monitoring programme to fulfil the requirements of the Water Framework Directive. The dataset comprises quantitative percentage cover data of all macroalgae and selected invertebrates in the northern intertidal zone of Helgoland between summer 2005 and 2008.
