Cidaridae (pedicellariae)
Description Valves of large globiferous pedicellariae: a. Stereocidaris ingolfiana: The subterminal opening is surrounded by small denticles, but there is no closed space between them as in Tretocidaris. b. Stylocidaris affinis: There are no enlarged end teeth, the blade opening is definitely "terminal". c. Tretocidaris spinosa: Below the single large end tooth the blade opening is very small. the interspace is closed. No scale.
