Photo Gallery Coryphaena hippurus
Description Larvae of Coryphaena hippurus (dorado), collected off the coast of Santa Elena and Manabí provinces – Ecuador, 10 miles offshore, recorded in pre-flex and flexed states with sizes of 4.5 mm and 7.2 mm. Significant densities were recorded in Salinas during february 2011, April 2017, september 2021 and June 2024, while in Puerto López the highest densities occurred in july 2011, october 2013, february 2020 and april-may 2025.·
