Description De gekleurringde zilvermeeuw GDA.R was kerngezond in zijn eerste levensjaar. Het 2de levensjaar begon ook voorspoedig totdat hij ergens begin september 2008 in een vislijn verstrikt raakte. Beide poten raakten verstrikt, maar de problemen waren het grootst aan zijn rechterpoot. Die was volledig afgekneld, begon op te zwellen en langzaam af te sterven. (Brouwersdam, 18.11.2008).
