Description Stauridiosarsia producta (Wright, 1858) (Anthomedusae, Corynidae) from Norway (Raunefjord), size about 5 mm. This medusa resembles very closely Coryne eximia, but can immediately be distinguished from the latter by the conspicuous apical chamber above the manubrium (conical shape). The polyps of the two species are quite different.Author Schuchert, PeterJPG file - 44.59 kB - 490 x 500 pixelsadded on 2006-12-212 796 viewsERMS taxaDigital photo, part of speciesStauridiosarsia Mayer, 1910checked Schuchert, Peter 2024-01-18Digital photo, part of speciesStauridiosarsia producta (Wright, 1858)checked Schuchert, Peter 2024-01-18 This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 License
