Diagnosis Corallum usually reproduces asexually, producing a cylindrical anthocyathus less than 8 mm GCD; theca imperforate; costae granular, originating by trifurcation; septa hexamerally arranged in 3-4 cycles; small pali before all but last cycle; columella papillose. [details]
Remark This genus and family was monographed by Cairns (1997), which included a phylogenetic analysis based on morphology. Six species, including 3 fossil. [details]Unreviewed
