Distribution This is the most frequently reported species from the genus Florarctus, however more than 80% of the
records are concentrated in the Mediterranean basin. Outside of this area, F. hulingsi is reported from tropical
localities in the Atlantic and Indian Ocean and from the temperate zone in the Celtic Sea, although in our
opinion these localities need confirmation. An intertidal and subtidal species (known also from marine caves),
it has been reported from different types of sand and sediments. [details]
