Diagnosis Thalassometra with 10-20 stout cirri, ~30 mm long, of 50-59 cirrals, in 10 columns. Secundibrachials either 2 or 4(3+4); brachitaxes ossicles and proximal brachials smooth aborally or with proximal and distal margins rugose, and sometimes with fine lateral spines, and with sharp, straight, unmodified lateral edges and the midaboral region roundedly carinate.
