Nomenclature Protodrilus adhaerens f. gracilis Jouin, 1968 is unavailable nomenclaturally, and thus cannot strictly be a 'synonym' and is linked here as such only for tracking purposes. Von Nordheim (1989) described P. gracilis, a full species, which he believed was the same entity as Jouin had discovered.
