Etymology [The species name was derived from Latin curvatus, being bent, and probably referred to the lateral spinose processes of segment 8 (modern counting of segments) bending strongly inwards at their tips as Zelinka (1928, p. 346) stated: "Die kräftigen Seitenzacken des X. Zoniten sind von erheblicher Größe, 0,0153 mm lang, und laufen in eine nach innen gekrümmte Spitze aus." = The strong lateral spinose processes of the X. zonite are of considerable size, 0.0153 mm long, and taper off into an inwards bent tip.] [details]
