Etymology The specific epithet nidrosiensis derives from 'Nidaros', the medieval name of the town of Thondheim, and the Latin suffix -iensis, meaning 'of' or 'from a place', and refers to the type locality of the species, near the town of Tromdheim (Norway). [details]
Habitat On mud with sand and laminarians, among Madrepora oculata corals, and in tubes on the sponge Phakellia robusta. [details]
Type locality Atlantic Ocean, Norway, Trondheimsfjord, Garten (geocoordinates not provided, estimated with gazetteer to be approximately lat. 63.64º, long. 9.54º). [details]
