Description
Dataset of meiobenthos in the framework of Manuela. more

The main purpose of this data collection was to formulate an answer on the following questions: (1) what are the differences between meiofauna assemblages from beaches and the sublittoral zone, (2) is a sandy beach an independently functioning ecosystem and (3) what is the role of meiofauna in an energy flow through a beach ecosystem. These data also contributed to a larger study, where the density and diversity of meiofauna along a large latitudinal gradient was compared.
