Abstract:
The School offers a number of different degree programmes, including Bachelor of Science undergraduate degrees (BSc) and undergraduate Integrated Master’s programmes (MSci):

Degrees offered:

  • Master of Oceanography with study abroad
  • Master of Oceanography
  • Master of Marine Biology
  • Master of Oceanography with French
  • Marine Biology with Oceanography
  • Oceanography Single Honours
  • Oceanography with Foundation Year
  • Ocean Chemistry
  • Oceanography with Physical Geography
  • Oceanography (and Marine biology with Oceanography) with Foundation Year
  • Ocean, Earth and Climate Science

By doing a degree in Oceanography, Ocean Chemistry, Ocean Physics or Marine Biology you will gain an understanding of a broad range of scientific disciplines, and how different aspects can be integrated to study a complex system. The mix of quantitative and descriptive areas is highly-prized by many different employers outside of Marine Science, as well as being increasingly important for subject-specific employment.
