Abstract
    The first ODINAFRICA-II planning workshop, was officially opened by the Director of UNESCO Bureau for Education in Africa (BREDA) in Dakar, Senegal from 2 to 4 May 200, at the BREDA conference room on 2 May 2000.The workshop was attended by participants from: Benin, Cameroon, Comores, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Seychelles, South Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Togo, Tunezia. There were also representatives of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) and institutions in Australia and Belgium which will be providing external expertise for the project.The workshop reviewed the project document and adopted a work plan, budget and management structure that will be used in implementation of the project.
