Abstract
This report analyses administrative capacity, dynamics and diversity in Dutch nature conservation policy. It first describes developments in the content of Dutch nature conservation policy since 1990, and then analyses the developments, in terms of content and institutions, in three regional nature policy processes. This leads to an assessment of the administrative capacity of these policy processes in terms of implementing the National Ecological Network. The insights thus obtained are used to formulate policy recommendations for national and regional authorities involved in Dutch nature conservation policy.
