Abstract
    The yacht harbour of Oostende is one of the most interesting sites in the North of Belgium for ferns inhabiting walls. Ten fern species where found of which three species are very rare. The most interesting species are Gymnocarpium robertianum, Asplenium adiantum-nigrum and Thelypteris palustris.
