Five new species of Muricidae are described. Poirieria (Actinotrophon) fragilis from the New Caledonia region and Western Australia, Dermomurex (Takia) gofasi from the Northeast Atlantic, Attiliosa nithae from the Philippine Islands, Ocenebra (Ocenebra) chavesi from the Azores, and Pterotyphis ryalli from Ghana. Poirieria (Actmotrophon) actinophorus (Dall, 1889) is reported for the first time from the Northeast Atlantic.
