Abstract
Sea cucumbers of the Molpadonia order are average size animals, frequently found on deep muddy sea bottoms. The Molpadonia order, often reorganized by Clark (2), Heding (3), Deichman (4) and Pawson (5), currently consists of four families. Several abnormally small specimens, of a new genus, possibly belonging to the Molpadiidae, were collected with an epibenthic drag during the Polygas (October 1972) and Biogas 4 (February 1974) cruises at the following stations.
