Abstract
    Autochthonous finds of the sea anemone Sagartia elegans on the Belgian coast are described. Approximately thirty specimens were observed on boulders of a groin just east of the eastern jetty of the port of Zeebrugge on 21/07/200 t. On the eastern jetty itself 3 specimens were observed on 21/08/2001 and 1 specimen on 18/09/2001.
