Abstract
    Prosthiostomum wagurensis is native to the northwestern Pacific Ocean. It was likely introduced via biofouling on ship hulls. This flatworm was presumably first observed in 2019 in the port of Zeebrugge and has since been found multiple times in the Veerse Meer and Grevelingenmeer (the Netherlands).
