Abstract
The present thesis comprises the study of beach sediment transport patterns during a short time span by means of the application of two different techniques, comparing the results obtained with each technique individually and bringing them to a final conclusion. Both techniques (fluorescent tracer and beach profiling) were applicated during the same period, from the 22nd of February until the p1st of March 1994, in the Belgian North Sea coast in the Bredene-De Haan zone, an area which shows a residual erosinal beach evolution.
