Abstract
    In 1985 werd de collectie van Belgische Thoracica van het Koninklijk Belgisch Instituut voor Natuurwetenschappen nagekeken. Tevens werden langsheen de kust stalen genomen van de daar levende zeepokken. Voor de Belgische kust werden tot nog toe 7 soorten Balanomorpha, 1 Verrucomorpha en 7 soorten Lepadomorpha gevonden. Er wordt een overzicht gegeven van de Belgische publicaties in verband met Cirripedia en het soortenbestand wordt vergeleken met dat van de ons omringende landen.
